On-brand decks. Solved by Corduroy

Corduroy is Alterra's design system and now a Claude skill that drops every Alterra brand’s real colors, fonts, and logos into whatever you’re making: decks, docs, one-pagers. No more hunting for hex codes.

What it is

The brand kit, built into the ask.

Making an on-brand deck used to mean digging for hex codes and the right logo file. Now it’s part of the request.

Ask, don’t hunt

Say it, get it

Say what you want: “make me a PowerPoint.” Corduroy fires, and the output already carries the right palette, type, and logo.

17 brands, one skill

It asks which

Alterra corporate and every resort brand. It asks which one applies, and never guesses or mixes them together.

Straight from the source

Can’t drift

Colors and type come out of the Corduroy design system, the same token values engineering ships.

Two steps.

  1. Open the share link

Corduroy is shared directly. No install, no download.

    Add Corduroy
  2. Toggle it on

That’s it. It now fires whenever you ask Claude for a document, deck, or one-pager.

How to use it

  1. Ask for something

Make me a PowerPoint about our season-pass numbers.

  2. It asks which brand

Pick one, like Alterra, Steamboat, or Deer Valley. It won’t start designing until it knows.

  3. Get it back on-brand

Right colors, right type, right logo. Ready to present.

Honest edges

What it does, and what it doesn’t.

Corduroy is deliberately scoped. Knowing where it stops keeps the surprises out.

Handles

Colors, type & logos

  • Each brand’s real color palette, by role.
  • The correct font stacks and type styles.
  • The right logo files, placed per usage rules.
Doesn’t

Imagery, tone & fonts-on-disk

  • It won’t choose your imagery or your tone of voice. That’s still your call.
  • No font files ship with it. Don’t have the brand font installed? Your doc renders in a fallback face. The names stay correct: it’s a fallback, not a bug.

Make your next one on-brand.

Add Corduroy once. Every deck and doc after that starts on the right foot.
